The Live Más Scholar journey is just beginning when a scholarship is awarded. In this edition of Where Are They Now?, we’re bringing together recent video spotlights and a bonus spotlight from their video editor to show how scholars continue turning passion into purpose, long after receiving support.

Kwame Ambaah — Live Más Scholar

(2019-2022)

Inspired by his mother’s generosity and a lifelong calling to give back, Kwame Ambahh used his Live Más Scholarship Experience to turn purpose into action. After earning his degree, Kwame leveraged Taco Bell Foundation’s “Beyond the Money” resources to launch his own nonprofit organization supporting youth in underserved communities.

Oscar Lopez — Live Más Scholar

(2017 – 2020)

A visual storyteller since childhood, Oscar Lopez has always seen the world through a camera lens. Applying for the Live Más Scholarship allowed him to lean into that creativity, and through the Live Más Scholar community, he found mentorship, leadership opportunities, and the belief to pursue filmmaking full-time, helping others share their stories along the way.
