To fulfill our mission, grants and scholarships are distributed across the country each year. The Taco Bell Foundation’s fundraising efforts help support our key educational initiatives, including our partnerships, and the Live Más Scholarship program.

1992
Taco Bell founded the Taco Bell Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, focusing on serving youth and community needs.
1995
First partnered with Boys & Girls Clubs of America to support youth education and career-readiness programming.
$114,000,000
The Taco Bell Foundation has awarded $114 million in grants and scholarships focused on education and career readiness.
2000
By 2000 the Taco Bell Foundation, in conjunction with Boys & Girls Clubs of America helped build 71 Teen Centers.
2016
The Live Más Scholarship for Restaurant Employees launched, awarding 50 Taco Bell Team Members with scholarships.

In 2015 the Taco Bell Foundation launched the Live Más Scholarship, a $1 million scholarship fund, aimed at empowering 220 of the nation’s next generation of dreamers, innovators and creators.
2017
Taco Bell and the Taco Bell Foundation launch the Feed a Dream campaign.
Feed a Dream
For two weeks, and to celebrate the five year anniversary of the Doritos Locos Tacos, when customers purchased one a la carte item, Taco Bell donated 10 cents (up to $500,000) to the Live Más Scholarship program. Live Más Scholarship recipients helped produce the TV commercial and taco wrappers to launch the campaign.
2019
The Taco Bell Foundation introduces Round Up in restaurants across the country.
Round Up
Through Round Up, Taco Bell customers have the opportunity to donate to the Taco Bell Foundation all year long by “rounding up” their total to the nearest dollar.
2023
Community Grants reaches milestone, with $15 million awarded to over 450 nonprofit organizations.
2024
Taco Bell Foundation introduces the inaugural Live Más Scholarship Alumni Council to help enhance and guide alumni relations for the 3,000+ scholar community.
$21,000,000
The Taco Bell Foundation has met its commitment to award $21,000,000 in Live Más Scholarships by 2021 to educate and inspire the next generation of leaders.
2025
Live Más Scholarship celebrates it’s 10-year anniversary and a decade of impact, by awarding a record-breaking $14 million to more than 1,000 Taco Bell Fans and Team Members.
