The Live Más Scholarship program exists to help empower those with a desire to create change in the world. As one of the only passion-based scholarships for students, we’re looking at you – not your test scores. No matter where you are in your journey, whether just recognizing your strengths, developing a passion, or bringing it to life, we’re here to help you define a path and chase your dreams.
This program is more than a scholarship. Live Más Scholars join a community of more than 3,000 passionate young people, gaining access to invaluable connections, career building resources and opportunities to help you reach your goals.
When you become a Live Más scholar, you are empowered to lead with passion, chase your boldest ambitions and Live Más.
Applications are reviewed based on the following:
Passion: Applicant demonstrates a passion they want to pursue in life and explain the steps they are currently taking to pursue that passion and/or their plans to do so in the future.
Social Impact: Applicant has a clear goal that they want to achieve to create positive change in their community and beyond and is committed to making it happen.
Personal Presentation: Applicant shares their personal story in an emotionally inspiring and authentic way.
Educational Goals: Applicant shares their current educational plan (education program, college, or certificate/degree program) and explains how it will enable them to pursue their passion and create a positive impact.

Live Más Scholarship Renewal Program
In 2018, the Taco Bell Foundation introduced a Live Más Scholarship Renewal Program to provide continued support to our scholars along their educational journeys. Scholarships are awarded to previous Live Más Scholarship recipients who clearly explain through a 2-minute video how they have furthered the pursuit of their passion since winning a Live Más Scholarship.
Meet Siena – A Live Más Scholar
Siena found her passion for firefighting and committed herself to learning everything she could about the field. When she joined her local Fire Explorer program, she was the only girl—but rather than be discouraged, she saw it as an opportunity to lead by example and show other young women that firefighting is a path they can pursue too. In recognition of her determination, leadership, and drive to make a difference, the Taco Bell Foundation awarded Siena a $25,000 Live Más Scholarship.
